How many people live in the space of frustration? The fact is, there is not enough time to do all we think we must do, want to do or dream of doing. There is just too much to do, calls to make, people to see. One of the few things we truly possess is time. There is only so much you can do and only so many roles you can play. How we choose to use the here and now is a personal and a powerful choice. Choose wisely.

Never Enough Time – Or is there?

Earlier this evening I was thinking about how quickly time passes. Without realizing it several days have passed since I last posted anything in my Daily Awareness blog.

Sure, the intention was there, but I have long realized intention without action soon becomes frustration.

How many people live in the space of frustration? The fact is, there is not enough time to do all we think we must do, want to do or dream of doing. There is just too much to do, calls to make, people to see.

We feel over-worked and underpaid. There are not enough resources to do the job. Multiple projects and priorities eat away at our day. Day timers, organizers and palm pilots assist us in the efficient use of our time. Traffic reports guide us to work; weather reports prepare us for the ride home. We punch into a time clock or we are exempt and never punch out.

Is it so difficult managing time or is our expectation for achievement so high that the 24 hours in a day is simply not enough?

It is so easy to waste time and never recapture a missed moment. Where you spend your time determines how you live your life; in peace or in turmoil, in love or in fear.

One of the few things we truly possess is time. There is only so much you can do and only so many roles you can play. How we choose to use the here and now is a personal and a powerful choice. Choose wisely.
