Hi Mark,
Very encouraging! I practice living into the essence of the goal I've set for myself. It looks the way you describe it here - taking small steps that have me experience what it will feel like to achieve my goal in the end. I've written down (on my facebook profile page so it's public - gulp!)that I want to achieve my black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. No small feat, I can tell you.

Each class, like dripping water, is a small step towards the accomplishment of this goal. I started out as a white belt last year. I'll receive my blue belt (another public declaration written down) in 2010. I'll go from blue to purple to brown (wow!) to black by 2019. Fills me with awe to think about it.

Thanks for providing the opportunity to get that clearly stated.

I truly enjoyed Mark's article on the Law of Attraction. His post helps to simplify for people how to practically apply the goals that they set, in a manner that is not overwelming for the goal setter. I realized after reading this article that I need to break my long term goals down into bite sized pieces. I'm sure his book Thirty Days to Change Your Life is filled with tremendous tips that all of us could learn from,

Debbie,

This post was written by Mark Harrison.

Self-talk is great if it's positive but a right pain if negative. You have to stop that negative self-talk because it will stop you achieving everything you desire.

Great post Andrew. What you think you have you will have if you visualize it long enough. Be careful with your self talk it can talk you right out of what you really desire.

Thank you again for your great insite.
