There is a misconception that all managers are the same and that all organisations, wherever they may be, require the same style of management to function effectively.

This is not the case.

There are many influences that determine how a manager needs to work.

As the Manager, are you taking risks?

As the Manager, are you taking risks?

Management in the modern context in the developed world has had to grapple with many changes. Most of the traditional management styles as preached by the management gurus are no longer relevant anymore.

How do you manage effectively in a work environment that is constantly changing?

Do your traditional skills still cope when markets evolve constantly, credit dries up, customers are taking fright and not spending, the Universities and Colleges are not teaching the right skills you need?

The list of modern day business woes continues ad nauseam.

How To Be A Fearless Leader

Posted by: Andrew Rondeau | Comments (0)

fear 239x300 How To Be A Fearless LeaderTo be a leader means you should be brave and fearless, this however is easier said than done. After all, everyone has their own set of fears and leaders are no different. Despite your existing fears however, there are ways of becoming a fearless leader and a good one at that.

The very first thing that you can do to become a fearless leader is to acknowledge your fears. It is a good idea to keep a journal of your fears and be honest in recording the fears that you think may affect your leadership abilities. The fears may even include those of your personal life especially if they hinder you from becoming an effective leader.

ffmedal bravery 242x300 Building Personal Courage and ResilienceThe word courage means to be able to face fears with ones head held high. It is not the absence of fear that defines us as being brave. It is true that people experience fear every day and that it can be so strong that it paralyses them.

We are allowed to feel these things. In fact, it’s good that we do. It would mean we wouldn’t be human if we didn’t feel emotions, especially fear.  Showing that we can face and overcome fear does not require us to sacrifice our lives. In fact, all people have the makings of being a real hero and in their own little way can show that they are willing to face all the trials that life throws in their way.

law of attraction 300x261 The Reality Behind The Law Of AttractionLife seems to have a way of working out. People have enthusiastically contributed to the recent success of books like The Secret and The Law of Attraction. Yet many mistake the practice of this law.

They have misunderstood what the message of these books is all about.

They have allowed themselves to believe that the Law of Attraction will fulfill their dreams just by sitting back and thinking what they want from their lives.

As far as I am concerned, this is not how it works.
