Gain Extra Hours Every Day By Simply Outsourcing Your Life

Some of you will have
seen me raving about the best
self-development book ever written (just my opinion, OK!).
As a direct result of this book, I have started to outsource my life and gain some valuable hours back every day.

In the past, I have worked on numerous large, multi-million dollar outsourcing deals for large Corporate.
- who to outsource to
- what to outsource
- when to start
- what contract to have
- how to measure the success...
…all on a very large scale.
Now I am running my own business – this article directory for instance -
and it takes a huge amount of time and effort.
In addition, a lot of that time and effort is keeping the business
ticking over.
Tim’s book
inspired me. It got me thinking.
What could
I outsource?
Who shall
I outsource to?
It’s The Same Questions – Large Or Small
In fact, it
is the same questions whether you are a one-man business or a large
multi-million dollar corporate.
I use
Tim’s recommendations and decided to use www.getfridday.com
GetFriday
have the slogan “Life Gets Better With Get Friday”.
I like
that!
That’s
what I want, I don’t want to spend all my spare time performing admin tasks. I
want to market, find affiliations, agree Joint Ventures, develop new products…
GetFriday promise to “Manage
my life more efficiently by letting my own virtual assistant carry out my
routine and mundane tasks.
GetFriday can undertake any task, business or personal, that does not require our physical presence.
Just tell your virtual assistant and consider it
done.”
I wanted that!
I
excitingly and quickly contacted GetFriday.
They
personally rang me back, asking me how I would like to use their services. They
wanted to get to know me.
I signed
up for a ‘one-off task plan’. I wanted to test them out.
A few days
later, I received an email from my new “executive assistant”. They introduced
themselves.
I had the ideal test.
I had not
published any of my articles on any ezine directories for months. They could do
that. I sent them the articles and the ezines I want them published on.
50
articles, 8 different ezines.
Easy, but
I just did not want to do it.
A couple
of days later – all done.
Simple!
I then
tested them again with another task. Find articles by top authors that I could
add to my site.
One day
later, I received 20 new articles by Ken Blanchard, Sir Richard Branson, Edward
De Bono, Zig Ziglar…to add to my own personal Article Directory.
I read
each one. Out of the 20, 17 were excellent additions to my site.
The test
was over. Get Friday had completed an excellent job.
I decided
to sign up for a monthly plan. Here, you pay a flat membership
fee every month, based on the number of hours allotted every month to carry out
tasks.
The
more hours you sign up for, the cheaper the hourly rate. You can get the hourly
rate as low as $7.
First task under the
monthly plan: add the 15 new articles to my website.
This was going to be an
on-going task, so I decided to video myself doing it first. I completed a
couple of examples using Cam Studio.
I then sent GetFriday
the video and asked them to load the articles.
Again, all done.
It’s fairly early days
but GetFriday now submit my own postings to ezines and find and add articles
to my own Article Directory.
Blog Carnival Submissions
Another area of work I
have outsourced is submissions to Blog Carnivals.
Over the last year or so,
I have spent several hours each week submitting my blog postings to Blog
Carnivals.
Then 2 months ago, I
received an offer from this Blog Carnival Submission Service.
It offered: "you
pay nothing today and can try it free for 30 days".
I signed up straight
away.
Now each week I get a reminder to supply my blog posting URL and any comments and hey presto a few hours later I receive up to 20 or so submission receipts from the different Blog Carnivals.
It is that simple.
The service has been excellent and it’s all for $25 a month.
Check out the 30 day free trial (no affiliation) - just click here
So What Have I Been Doing With All This Extra Time?
All this outsourcing has enabled me to produce a new product on the subject of Public Speaking, which I am just about to launch. To receive complementary Public Speaking videos and an e-book sharing proven techniques…just click here.
Am I pleased?
So far, yes.
What shall I outsource
next?
What are your
experiences?

Great tips Andrew
And a nudge for me to ask if I'm outsourcing enough. It's so easy to get into the habit of doing too much and wondering why I'm feeling tired! Heer's to more ease, Lorraine www.powerfull-living. biz |

Lorraine,
Isn't it easy to get into habit? When will the nudge turn into action? ::)) Andrew |

Hi Andrew,
Great site, and thanks for the tips in this article! I've just started blogging and am enjoying it for now, so I wasn't even thinking of outsourcing but will certainly check out the links you posted and give it some thought! |

Daphne,
Thanks for your comments - really nice to receive. Start with just a small task to outsource and ensure you are happy with the service before comitting to a plan. What do you think you will outsource first? Andrew |
